I had eye surgery and the doctor gave me a month to recover. I was on disability but office got busy so on 3 different days I did a little work. I told the adjuster I didn’t work. They now have a video of me working. What can happen to me?

You don’t have to panic. If the Claims Adjuster hasn’t contacted or challenged you there is not much to be concerned about. Telling the Claims Adjuster you did not work is not a crime.
If your employer or supervisor asked you to work when things became busy, all you did was comply with their request. Your employer really has some degree of influence over the insurance company. Remember they “hired” the insurance company, and in essence, the insurance company works for your employer.
If you received money for the time you just put in the Claims Adjuster may deduct that amount from the amounts you were going to receive. If the Claims Adjuster asks you about it tell the truth. You should not be fired, and you should not lose any other of your Workmans Compensation benefits which are directly related to your eye injury.
We would suggest though you take the remaining time you have off so your eye can heal properly. If you don’t and your eye injury becomes exacerbated you may have trouble convincing the insurance company to pay future benefits.
The above is general information. Laws change frequently, and across jurisdictions. You should get a personalized case evaluation from a licensed attorney. Find a local attorney to give you a free case review here , or call (888) 647-2490.
