I went to get a pedicure on Thursday, March 10th, 2011 and after the spa pedicure I have cuts and scrapes all over both of my feet and they are bleeding.
I went to the salon yesterday and the manager kept apologizing for the pedicure, and he gave my $40 back. The woman that did the spa pedicure came over and when she saw my feet she apologized and walked away fast.
What can I do?

Answer
Dear Sherry,
It is rare for business people to admit their mistakes and apologize for them. It is rarer to also receive a full refund. If your feet did not become so seriously infected that you required hospital care, and you had previously enjoyed pedicures at the spa, then the unfortunate event might have been an aberration and you might consider returning for future pedicures.
In the alternative, if you had not previously enjoyed pedicures at this spa, it would be difficult to know if the event was an aberration. Barring the onset of infection or scarring, you should consider frequenting another spa.
