I was sitting still at a red light. A lady hit me from behind so hard she knocked me into another vehicle.
I went to the Doctor with severe pain and still have pain. They took an MRI and found that two of my disks had been ruptured and torn. I do not want to have surgery but i do not want to get messed around either.
So I’m wondering how much my claim is worth because i have no attorney?

Its hard to calculate how much your claim is worth based upon the facts, however a torn or ruptured disc is definitely no laughing matter.
While you do not need to have surgery, many insurance adjusters will not compensate you for FUTURE pain and suffering. The best advice is to continue on a medical treatment plan that addresses your CURRENT medical needs.
Then, if you have a skilled attorney who can argue the likelihood that you will need surgery in the future, you may be able to receive a settlement that takes those factors into consideration.
I once settled a case against a fast food chain for a similar injury with a narrative from an orthopedic surgeon regarding the reasonable probability of surgery in the future and the approximate cost.
So, make sure you continue treating your current symptoms and talk to someone skilled in the area of future and prospective injury.
