Last April I was working on a job and fell over a wooden pallet. I fell on both of my knees and hit my head on the ground. I have pain in my leg and recently I’ve been having more headaches, which I never had before. I did have surgery in 2009 for my lower back.
Is there a certain amount for hitting your head on the floor and both knees and leg?
Workmans Compensation insurance regulations do not set certain amounts for non-specific injuries. That is because the pain in your head, knees and back are not easily quantifiable. (Quantifiable being a fancy word for “Heck, I can’t tell which of my injuries hurts more than the other.”)
The degree of injuries and necessary medical treatment for each will give you and the Workmans Compensation representative an idea of a proper settlement offer.
