You certainly have a legal right to sue the individuals who perpetrated the robbery upon you. You have a right to reimbursement for any property or money taken from you during the robbery, and compensation for your emotional distress (pain and suffering).
While your legal right to sue the individuals is clear, the practicality of doing so may be a challenge. It is likely if the individuals are incarcerated they have few if any assets. If they had assets it is also likely they wouldn’t have robbed you.
If though, you have information about assets one or both of the individuals possess, you may have a right to seize those assets subsequent to a court ordered judgment (arising out of your lawsuit).
